The Preclearance Program has been in existence since 1984. Throughout this time and up to 1995, its funding was provided by USAID. The JEA then funded the program from 1995 to 2001 when the reins were handed over to the JMOA, our cooperator, to present date.

History

The Jamaica Preclearance Program was first funded by USAID, from 1984-1995. The Jamaica Exporters Association (JEA) then funded the program between 1996 and March 31, 2001.
